Dry Cleaning: Today, about 90% of dry cleaners use PERC (perchloroethylene) cleaning solvent. PERC is a colorless, clear liquid with peculiar dry cleaning odor (sweet smell). It is toxic and can cause major health problems with extended exposure.

Coast 1 HR Cleaners is one of a few dry cleaners in Los Angeles that uses Hydrocarbon DF-2000 cleaning solution. Hydrocarbon is non toxic, biodegradable cleaning solution and is considered as the main alternative to PERC.
